Riding the Roller Coaster...AGAIN!

How can you go on a cruise and have a wonderful time, and you come home and everything falls apart??? lol. It feels like that somedays!!! I've had so much more emotional drama over the past 2 weeks(from work and my personal life), that I'm about ready to fall apart! Life can be so hard at times, and yet other times, it is a piece of cake.

Oh how I long to be back on that cruise ship...eating from the breakfast buffet, and laying by the pool. Give me strength!!!

Jed's homecoming will be in Mapleton at 9am, on the 20th of June. I WANT him to talk in my ward on the 27th, but he told me he might not want to do it this last week in his email. That's cool with me...I'll go with what he wants or doesn't want. After all it is all about him, and not me. (We are going to discuss it on Mother's Day, when we get to talk to each other.) But I'd love to have him come to my ward and speak, and share his experiences with my friends there too. I cannot help it. I have a life that is separate from his dad's, and I have needs too.

I feel that my needs and wants over the past 6 years, have been put on hold from the divorce. I've been forced to take the backseat and to just be the mom that shows up to things. I don't feel that I've been demanding or forceful at any time. Just have tried to be supportive and there for my kids and the ole ex.

It's hit the fan for me. I cannot do it anymore, without voicing my feelings. I have wants and I have needs. I'm a person...not just the loser in the divorce. I'm tired of making nice about things, when inside I'm still hurting and reeling from it. (Will it ever stop???) Each new family event seems to trigger the feelings of loss and abandonment in me. It brings it all back to the surface, and back into my life. It's just a constant up and down motion, like on a roller coaster. (Not to mention the stress from work and bills.)

I know that I'll get through this. I KNOW IT! Still, it hurts and I'm a wuss. :(

Here's to strength to get through the next few months. To happy times in the future...like bowling with Jake and Josh on Saturday, going to Fillmore on the 27th. (I get to see Jenny and attend a friend's wedding reception), talking with Jed on Mother's Day, spending Mother's Day with my own mother in Boise and maybe Josh, going back to Boise for Memorial Day, mission farewell on June 13th in Boise, and Jed flying back to Utah in June. (Can't say home for him...cause he'll be with his dad and not me.) These are times that I'll look forward to, and try to forget the past.

As I said before...Give me Strength!!! (please?)

Blue Water, Blue Skies...My Favorite Color For Fun!!!

Hi Everyone! Thanks for stopping by!

Kim, DeEtte, and
Rae Jean...the Munson Bathing Beauties!
We are on St. Thomas on a beach.

Our He-Men of the Beach! Don, Russsell, and Mike

We had the most wonderful vacation in the Southern Caribbean, from April 4-April 11th. We went on the Princess Cruise Line, and went with my 2 sisters DeEtte & Kim, and their hubbies Russell and Mike. It was so relaxing and fun! There were 5 ports, which for me, were toooo many, but it was still great to be there and with them. The weather was sunny some days and cloudy and rainy on others. Here are a few pictures from it. There are more on my facebook also.

Don at the Zipline...mighty cute outfit! lol This was so fun! There were 11 ziplines, and one was over 150 feet off of the ground. It was a test to me, with my fear of heights. It was fun though...and challenging. There were so many steps and scary bridges. Quite the experience!

Here we are at one of our ports. That's our ship in the background. It was very big! We were so lucky to have a room with a balcony this time. Awesome!

Formal night with my sisters. Kim, Me, and DeEtte. Sorry I don't have the guys! They DO clean up pretty well too!!!
What a wonderful vacation for us! It was just what we needed...a week without phones or problems!
