I didn't get any fun pictures over the weekend, so I'mgoing to use this little doll on my blog. (She is my niece, Sage, and is my sister Katie's daughter.) My family had a nice memorial at my father's grave on Saturday, and then took some flowers to Amy's grave. I got 2 pictures of this cutie at Amy's grave from 2 sisters. I wished that I could have been there, but I have been in Boise so much lately, that I had to stay home.
I got up at 6am on Saturday morning, and went into work to finish up the May invoices. I got them done in about an hour and a half, so then I went home and colored my hair. Then I got to spend some time with Jenny on Saturday. She brought Rusty to the airport, so we then went to Hobby Lobby and spent 2 hours looking at things. There is a new one that opened up by me. I got some cool stuff there. Then we hit Subway and got some lunch. It was good to spend time with her. I miss having her closer to me! Of course, Don was working, so I just did some odds and ends until he came home.
Don and I went to Chili's for dinner, and had a great time. Then he went and did a sleep study, overnight at a place not far from there. He said that was quite the night, and he really did not sleep with all of the wires hooked onto him. I wish I had a picture of that!!! lol (He is not getting the oxygen that he needs.)
On Sunday, I didn't feel good. I went to Primary and then came home after the sacrament. We were both in bed early that night, as we didn't sleep well the night before. (Don cause of his study, and me cause I just messed around doing things without him there!)
Monday morning, on Memorial Day, we went with Don's parents and family to breakfast. It's their tradition. It was fun to see everyone and to be with them. I still didn't feel well though, so I went home and crashed on the recliner, and Don went motorcycling with his sons Brent and Blake. (They had a ball.) I felt like I was in water or something. Just could not get moving, and felt like everything was more difficult to do, and I had a small headache. It was really a strange couple of days! After laying around all day Monday, I got up at 7pm and went on a walk. It felt good to be moving around. And then at 9pm I decided that I felt good enough to drive down to Jesse's grave in Springville. I'd put it off, since I didn't feel well on Sunday and Monday. It was a nice drive, and the traffic was pretty good. I'm glad that I went, and spent a little time with him. It was kind of eery though...being in the cemetary after dark. But a peaceful eery!!! I talked to Jesse, Dad, and Amy. It was very soothing for me.
Anyways. We made it through the weekend, and now I have 17 days and Jed will be home. Woo Hoo! (I had to mention that...even though you thought that I wouldn't!) I am getting excited for it! (Only 2 more Sundays, and 2 more times to email with him.)
